To become a member of New Africa Barter Alternative (NABA), you’re required pay an annual subscription fee of $5,000, which supports innovation and market development. This fee is renewable every year on the same date.

Upon payment of this fee, you gain official membership, which grants you access to purchase land from Zaka Rural District Council.

Land Purchase & Payment Plan
  • Land Cost: $12,500 for 2,500m²
  • Payment Term: Instalments over 5 years
  • Service Charge: $300 per month (covers electricity, water, refuse collection, and security)
  • Construction and trading can commence once the initial payments are completed.
Payment Policies & Membership Conditions
  • Failure to pay the required fees results in loss of membership and possible forfeiture of land.
  • A 3-month grace period is granted for outstanding payments.
  • A 7-day grace period applies to the monthly service fee; failure to pay leads to service suspension.
  • Subscription fees are subject to change based on market forces.
Market Operations

The Africa International Market, powered by NABA, is designed to unite African nations in business. It will facilitate barter trade alongside monetary transactions.

  • The market initially operates 7 days every 3 months but remains open for day-to-day business.
  • Additional events include singing competitions, dance performances, cycle and car races, horse games, and boxing.
  • Facilities include storage spaces, houses, shops, halls, sports fields, and restaurants, available in modern or cultural designs.
  • Members can choose the type of construction they prefer.
Code of Conduct & Dispute resolution
  • Members must respect one another.
  • Disputes will be resolved by the committee; in severe cases, legal authorities will intervene.
  • If a member disrupts business, they may be required to vacate the premises immediately.
Compensation Policy Upon Exit
  • If a member vacates:
    • Property Compensation: 75% of the total property cost will be reimbursed only after resale or re-occupation.
    • Membership Fee Refund: The remaining balance for unused days will be refunded within 3 months.
    • Service Fee Refund: The remaining balance for unused days will be refunded within 7 days.
